A Thought from Terri Amos-Britt

Suffering. There seems to be a lot of it on our planet right now. Here in the U.S. we are experiencing the worst financial crisis since the Depression. Everyone is in survival mode. Worry and stress are affecting our minds, our bodies, our relationships and our families

Are you buying into the suffering? I did for years and still get caught up in worry about money at times. But when I do, I know my ego has taken over. This awareness came to me some years ago when I was dealing with money issues and sat down to write a letter to God. I have a tool that I love to use where I write my questions and feelings with my normal dominant writing hand. But when I want an answer, I switch the pen to the other hand and allow God to speak to me. By switching to your less dominant hand, you open your mind to your intuition. On this particular day, I was done. I was absolutely frustrated with life, constantly fretting about money. When I asked God about this and switched the pen to my other hand, these words appeared, "Terri, I didn't put you on this planet to suffer. I put you on this planet to prosper." Wow! I was astounded at what I was reading. I knew immediately that I had bought into a belief that said money is always a struggle. It is a human belief and IS NOT the truth.

The truth is that you will receive what you believe. If you believe that there is never enough then there will never be enough. If you have a subconscious programming that says you're not good enough to have financial abundance then you will most likely always be struggling. Your beliefs affect everything and create your reality. To shift them, you have to spend a little time getting to know what lies in the dark recesses of your mind.

Are you ready to end the struggle? Are you tired of suffering? I invite you to take some time this week and really dive within to see what belief you're holding onto that causes you to suffer. Write a letter to God or to your inner child. And if you're really adventurous, allow the answers you need to come to you via your other hand. Yes, it will look like chicken scratch! That doesn't matter. You will know as you hear the words come to you that you are on the right path. The key is for you to give yourself permission to release the old false beliefs that create your suffering, and, finally, give yourself permission to prosper.

Let us hear back from you and tell us what you discovered!

With love and light...

Terri
